My mentor and friend from Vancouver, WA days

JANICE WALL! What more can I say? I followed her all around and did all her crazy adventures when we lived in Vancouver. That was 21 yrs. ago! We got lost in wooded areas running, she taught me to teach fitness and make chocolates. She had so much energy and was okay with dragging me along. I liked her brashness and boldness and wanted to be more like that...as I timidly followed her everywhere and listened to her crazy schemes and ideas that she was always brewing. Funny we lost contact until last year...though I have sought her out, looked for her often...for several years. She never knew the influence she had on me! Her daughter, a baby when I knew her...a few months older than Shanie...playing here in Walla Walla against Whitman girl's basketball team. Janice came for the game and we had a great....long lunch...talking and talking...and she still is full of ideas...after we went to the game. I had to cheer for both teams...two of the Whitman girls Shanie played basketball with for years...good to see them again too! (Jennifer Keyes and Anna Forge)
