shanie's summer work

shanie worked 55 hours this week! yuck! mostly for me...cuz i don't get to see her much. she is working for a plant nursery and orchard....rowley's. it is cherry harvest this week and last week. that means she is off to work at 4:45 am! and pretty much 9 and half to 10 hour day! she seems to really like working there. she is the only spanish/english speaking worker during cherry harvest and she is sorting, stacking and weighing the cherries as the workers bring them in...speaking her spanish. she normally weeds, transfers plants, loads trucks with plants and trees to sell to stores or nurserys, prunes...a lot of things. they have i think four greenhouses, and acres and acres of plants and trees.

speaking of spanish...shanie went with me to the spanish relief society and gave the prayer and read....i just sit there and laugh and pretend to understand. but all those spanish ladies love me and i love them....they always hug and kiss and that is so me....well....had to get used to the kissing....on the cheek.
