We had our friend Matt Perkins take our family picture in Hawaii....I like to get one for our Christmas card. We found this great spot and took all these different pictures in one location! It looks like we went a bunch of places.....doesn't it? It was raining and getting dark fast. It was our quickest photo shoot ever! We had to hurry....the sun went down on us pretty fast! This place was tucked away in a neighborhood in Kahana....we found a little beach access...you could tell it was pretty much only a local hangout....rocky and beautiful!
I wanted to update my blog...but went through a serious block in thought...just cuz I needed to get it done.
What Christmas means to me? Memories:
visiting my dad's very old teachers...bringing gifts...not being able to breathe... houses so musty....but seeing the great joy our visits brought
Christmas carols to lonely widows when a teenager...watching them cry (i think from happiness....not from our poor singing)
wanting to pass on the tradition of making the most of Christmas
visiting with my kids, our neighbor dying in the hospital...taking a little tree and singing (badly...very badly....but you could feel the spirit)
doing the 12 days of Christmas for another eldery neighbor...he could not figure out who....the kids were little, and it was such a joy to door bell ditch!
