Saona Island

A fun filled day on an island in the Caribbean! Bought coconut from man selling it there....tried to sit on a lounge chair...but didn't manage....finally talked Steve into walking as far around the island as we could...as we went around corners, it was like we were the only ones there! Walked out into the ocean...shallow...i found a baby starfish....it is very shallow far from land....and the water was so clear! Ended up being a long bus ride home....problems on the road...a chance to see people's houses...you could look right in...they left their doors open....tiny two room homes....everyone sits out on their front porch...very interesting to be a passing peeping tom.
